WHAT IS SUSPENSE?

Suspense is the element that authors/directors use to try to leave the audience hanging, trying to figure out what will happen next. Also Suspense is a feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about the outcome of certain actions, Suspense may operate in any situation where there is a lead-up to a big event or dramatic moment.

This is an over the shoulder shot of the person as you can only really see there back and one shoulder however if you the look down you can see a figure next to her shoulder. It looks like she is looking down and the figure however the figure has not noticed her.in the background you can see fields so it looks like a isolated place with not many people.

The lighting is quite bright so I would say if I ever did this again I would make it look a little bit darker.The girl has got a coat on which could represent the fact that she is trying ot hide in the clothes so she dose not get noticed as she could be spying on someone.however the person down the bottom looks like he is dressed in black.

Her being higher up could show that she is more important than the person down the bottom showing she has a hight status.she also looks like she is spying on him and that something is goning to happen to him.

The first thing you notice in this picture is the two people holding hands then just above the hands you can see a figure.

The two people (a man and a women)are holding hand are wearing smart stuff as the man looks likes he was wearing a suit jacket and the women is wearing a shiffon shirt. The figure in the back has a hood up and is wearing quite dark clothing to hide his identity, however if I was to take this shot again I may have made him more well hiden.

This is a front view and it is a mid shot of the hands yet it is a long shot of the figure.the figure may be spying on them or creeping up on them to get them.The backgroud is dark but you can tell there is an artifical light coming from the front.

This picture is from a birds eye point of view as the picture in being taken directly on top of the girl.

The girl is wearing just casual, day to day clothes. You can tell she is in a wooded area as you can see the leaves and the branches on the gorund.

This photo could show she is isolated as there is no one around her. She looks abit scared like there is something in front of her coming for her as she sort of looks likes she is looking up.

She could also be hideing from someone as she is kneeling down in a chidlike postion, rapping her arounds round her self as she is trying to keep herself safe.

This picture could be a point of view shot from the person who is grabing on to the person shoulder as you are seeing it from there point of view. It also has an aspect of an over the shoulder shot as you are looking over the persons shoulder.

In this picture you can see a girl in a white shirt while a male is grabbing her shoulder. This can be used in an horror movie as the male might have sneaked up on her and may for example kidnap her.

The back dround is pitch black which shows it is night time which could make it sacryer.

The girl is in a white shirt wich could represent innocence  to show she has done nothing wrong yet she was trageted by the male. Also white shirts tend to stand out quite a lot in the dark.
