Looking back at your
preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have
learnt in the progression from it to full product?

Which
we also then used in our final task-
we also used many different angle in our final task than we used in our
preliminary task as we realized it looks much more interesting from different
angels so in our final task we used high angles and low angles compared to our
straight on angle we used though out our other task.
It also made us more aware not to miss out shots and to take extra
shots that you might not even use as on our preliminary task we missed out one
of our main shots and we didn’t have time to go back and re film it so we had
to cover it up by cutting from shot to shot and even though it didn’t look that
bad in the end it was still not how we wanted it to look so in our final task
we took each shot at least twice and took extra one that we ended up using in
the end.
Also
when we were filming our preliminary task we didn’t have a tripod so we
borrowed one from school yet it was very flimsy and hard use, so we made sure
for our final task we had all the equipment we needed and got it all ready
before hand rather than on the day.
Also with this task we all sat down
together and edited as this was easier to make decisions and picking clips
where as before we all edited at different times which made it hard to decide
which clips to use which over all I found took longer.

So over all I found out there was much
more to the project than I originally though and the biggest thing I found out
thought the process from the preliminary to the final task is that it takes a
lot of planning. Whatever your dong has to be planned before hand otherwise
nothing gets achieved in the end.
